Background
The Coastal Collaborative Trust (CCT) was formed in March 2024 through the conversion of Hodgson Academy from a single to multi-academy trust (MAT) along with the commitment of four founding partners.
We were formally joined by The Blackpool Sixth Form College in October 2024 and welcomed Lytham St Anne’s High School in February 2025 along with McKee College House and Chadwick High School in September 2025.
Our Trust has very much been constructed on a ‘partnership of equals’ basis and the Trust Board and Executive Leadership Team (ELT) has been constituted to fairly reflect the contributions from our founding partners.
Our motivation to come together and form the Trust was driven at each level and collectively, by a desire to collaboratively create something that will serve the needs of local students, families, communities, and businesses, and become, over time, greater than the sum of the parts.
Our vision and values which are detailed within this website are the foundation of our ethos and shape the way that we will operate as a Trust.
We are excited to work locally and to make a difference to the lives of all our students by preparing them for life beyond education. We are also committed to making meaningful and valuable contributions to our local communities.
